Awakenings
The following collections are a celebration of the moments that are the wonders and miracles of a lifetime.
The Four Elements
is a collection of four three-part, linked poems representing Earth, Wind, Water and Fire. Its autobiographical stories take place on the Amazon River in Peru, the Sonoran Desert of Arizona, on the Cherokee Trail of Tears in Tennessee, and in an ancient Star Chamber in Vermont. Its stories are about meteor encounters, hurricanes, The Mayan Day of the Dead in Guatemala, and raw jewels, mountains, deserts, and volcanoes.
The Nine Directions
refers to nine totem spirits who serve us in different areas of our spiritual lives. This collection includes stories of whales, the Amazon Pink River Dolphin, an interlude with a mountain lion, and an octopus encounter. A retelling of the Red Tailed Hawk who flew with me at my windshield as I drove, a soul retrieval in Custer County Oklahoma, and bioluminescence on Mustang Island. And lastly, stories of a spiral unwinding in water and the tale of three shooting stars.
The Circle, The Cross, and the Triangle
is a collection of stories of ancient standing stones in Scotland, and of ancient trees. Stories of awakening to the past, and living in the present. Of horses and Spanish ships, and airplanes. And a telling of a brush with death in the Bermuda Triangle.
The Garden and The Rose
is the first in the series of four books “The Offering”, describing the nature of this walk in sacred landscapes. A series of essays on initiation to the nature of reality that makes the practice of asking and receiving gracefully a powerful means toward manifesting our prayers, this three CD collection includes stories of the Andromeda Galaxy, of the nature of entrainment, symbolism and time and space. Insight into the power of service to others, of living in compassion in our own story, of remembering our true walk, and the power of offerings.
The Rose text is included in The Garden collection as a story of awakening and arrival into the destiny of sacred spaces, once silent, now peopled again. It is a revelation of the power of spirits of place to affect change in our lives and in the world around us, on a daily basis, and over the course of our lives, even crossing generations.
